Origami Owl Living Lockets - Part 1

Hello Lovelies!!

I am super excited today about this post, in sharing with you my love and addiction for Origami Owl Lockets.  I somehow stumbled across Origami last year and I immediately knew that I had to have one!! It is the most unique line of jewelry and once I read the story behind the company, I knew I wanted to become part of their team.  Bella's story is so inspiring and a must read for all ages.  This following statements were taken from their website, this is Bella's story:

I started Origami Owl with $350 and a simple dream in mind—getting a car on my 16th birthday. When I was 14, I asked my parents for a car but they said I needed to work for it. So, with all of my babysitting money and my family’s support, I set out to start my own business and created Origami Owl.
Immediately, people loved creating stories with jewelry and women began asking how they could share Origami Owl with their own family and friends. We were a hit! After hearing stories about how our jewelry touched lives, it only made sense to spread some love across the country. Today, we have more than 60,000 Independent Designers who pursue their own dreams by selling our jewelry at home parties we like to call Jewelry Bars.

OUR MISSION IS TO BE A FORCE FOR GOOD; TO LOVE, INSPIRE
+ MOTIVATE PEOPLE OF ALL AGES TO REACH THEIR DREAMS +
EMPOWER THEM TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS.
But there is something else I want you to know, we’ve always been so much more than just a jewelry company. From the beginning I wanted my company to be different, I wanted it to be a force for good; to help others achieve their dreams like I achieved mine (yes, I finally got my car; a white Jeep I named Alice). It didn’t happen overnight, but with lots of hard work, Origami Owl grew from my after school job to a multimillion dollar company. It's been such an incredible journey and I believe our continued success has come from our intention to make a difference in people’s lives, we never put profits before people.

Wow, what an inspiring story!! I knew I wanted to place an order before I read Bella's story, and even more so afterwards.  I have a few photo's to share with you, some of them are of my personal lockets I designed and created. The best part of all is that you design your locket exactly how you want.  There are so many charms to choose from, the possibilities are endless.  On to the photo's:

This is the Rose Gold Heart Locket and Heart Chain, which is a Hostess Exclusive and can only be obtained by hosting an Online Party. ( I will tell you how you can host a free online party AND earn free Origami products )

This is my personal locket and holds a few of my favorites loves.....my husband Robert, Makeup and my marriage.  Of course, this is my favorite locket.  Every locket created tells a story or symbolizes an event.  I absolutely love that the charms can easily be changed out to create a new look.  With just one locket and a variety of charms, its like having several statement pieces.

How adorable and moving is this locket?  Look at the baby feet charm!! Origami Owl Lockets are the perfect gift for any age.  These lockets are interchangeable to our bracelets too.  There is something for everyone, even our fur babies!! Our mini lockets make the perfect dog tag.  I mentioned earlier that anyone can host a FREE Online party and earn FREE Origami product ( *with a qualifying party* ) and all you have to do is invite your family and friends to the online party via Facebook and I do the rest.  Sound good?? Picture Polish Shocked

Hello Lovelies!!

I have a long overdue post that I have been meaning to get to.  When this polish came out, I immediately had to order it.  Picture Polish Shocked is one of my favorite polishes from their collaboration 2013 line.  I paired it with a very cute Polk-a-dot Jamberry Nails wrap and just love how it turned out.  If you aren't familiar with Jamberry Nails, I will give a brief intro at the end of this post.  Let's get right to the photo's:

Shocked was created in 2013 with an Australian blogger Sarah aka Shatter me Claire  When asked what her inspiration was, she responded with "I am a Pink fanatic".  The formula is dreamy and glides on like butter and is 5 Free. Shocked is a dark Fuchsia Pink jelly scatter Holo that dries smooth on the nail (contains no glitter).  I used 3 coats along with HK Girl Top Coat to achieve that fabulous shine!! Don't you just love this color!! I too am a Pink-o-Holic.  You can purchase Picture Polish on their WEBSITE and be sure to follow them on Facebook.  If you are "nail art" challenged or just want a quick and easy nail art solution, Jamberry Nails is the perfect product.  Not only are they super easy to apply, but they have over 250 designs to choose from.  This is a quick, no mess-no fuss process AND no waiting for dry time!!  They apply in just a few seconds, once you get the hang of it and can be applied using a mini-heater or blow dryer.  The Jamberry nail wraps/shields can be worn as an accent nail, shown in my photos, or you can wear them on all of your nails.  You can view all of the designs and order HERE, they are always Buy 3 Get 1 Free.  It is great deal, especially if you want to split an order with a friend.   That is all I have for today. I love reading and responding to comments, would love to know your thoughts.   Do you have Picture Polish in your collection?  Until next time, Keep looking up, cause that's where it all is!

Marbles for Polish Kiki's Delivery Service Collection

Hello Lovelies!!

Happy Friday!  Is everyone ready for the weekend? Any big plans?  I took a little trip with my mom to Eagle Pass, Texas a few days ago.  We went to get our "Gamble" on at the Lucky Eagle Kickapoo Casino!!  They recently did a nice renovation and added a hotel, so it was nice not to have to drive back 2.5 hours in the middle of the night.  I wasn't a big winner, but my mom was! She is the luckiest person ever with those money eating slot machines!  She hit, on her 2nd spin $970.00!!! If only I could be so lucky :)  On to my post!  This is a new Indie Brand to me, Marbles for Polish and Shannon is so very sweet.  I love the way she rotates groups of ladies to swatch for her.  This collection of 5 is so pretty too.  The formula on each polish was fantastic and there was no staining!! Let's get to the photo's:

Ursula  -  Is a Blue jelly with shimmer, Red Holo and 2 different shades of Blue Holo.  Application was nice and smooth, and is opaque in 2-3 coats.

JiJi - Is a pure Black crème with a bit of silver shimmer.  Application was nice and smooth, and is opaque is 1-3 coats.

Kiki - Is a Blush Pink crelly with Black & Red glitter, plus Purple micro flakies.  This formula was easy to apply, just the right thickness.  This too is opaque in 2-3 coats.

Tombo - Is a glitter topper with matte White, Orange and Yellow glitters.  This is a fun summer polish that I wore alone and love it and is opaque in 2-3 coats alone and only 1 coat is needed if using as a glitter topper.

Osono - Is a Crème colored crelly with matte Green glitters.  The application was fabulous and the glitters did not bulk together, went on nice and smooth and is opaque in 2-3 coats.

I really enjoyed swatching this collection.  My favorite is Ursula, my love for Blue's continues!! What do you think of this collection?  Do you have any Marbles for Polish in your collection?  This has not been released yet, however, be sure to follow Shannon on her Facebook page and her Blog for announcements and updates.  That is all I have for this beautiful Friday!  Until next time, Keep looking up, cause that's where it all is!!
