Born Pretty Store - 3D Crown Nail Art Decoration *Photo Heavy*

Hello Lovelies!!

This week has flown by, Friday is almost here and I'm sure a lot of it has to do with the holiday that was on Monday.  I've had my days mixed up all week.   The bad weather seems to have stopped in my city, but it left a few small towns in Texas destroyed and devastated.  One in particular, Wimberely Texas.  I was sadden to read today that the number of deaths and missing persons keeps increasing, my heart and prayers go out to everyone.  I'd like to take a moment of silence to pray for strength and guidance for all cities affected and for loved ones lost.

Today I have another product that was sent to me for review from the Born Pretty Store and I will admit I was very excited to give these a try.  I have never worked with or worn any type of nail art decoration and who couldn't resist wearing a crown!! It's like having a "Miss USA" for your nails!   These 3D Nail Art Crown decorations come in a packet of 2 and I was extremely surprised at the quality of them.  They are very well made and do not look cheap at all, in fact they look very high end.  I really love how they look.  I will be headed to Las Vegas for my birthday next month and I plan on wearing these crowns. In my photos I am wearing Chaos & Crocodiles City in the Clouds, a gorgeous light  blue linear holographic with a hint of silver shimmer, which was a perfect match for the silver 3D crowns.  I applied 2 coats of City in the Clouds and 1 coat of Darling Diva Pryzmatic PETC Top coat, then added the crown with a pair of tweezers and gently set the crown on my ring finger while the top coat was still wet.  I absolutely love how these look together, such a great combination.

The official name for these are 2Pcs Crown Nail Art Decoration 3D Metal UV Gel Studs Shining Rhinestone Pattern.  The cost for 2 is only $1.79 and are also available in Gold, as well as other designs.  You can get an additional 10% off your order when you use my code HYSQ10 at check out.  To order these, simply click here and you can browse the entire Born Pretty Store to find more exciting and affordable items.  Look how cute these are!! I am looking forward to order more designs.

This product was sent to me for my honest review and all words written are min and of my own opinion.  Stay tuned as I have two more items to review from the Born Pretty Store.

Wednesday's With Lynnerella - Peripinkle

Hello Lovelies!!

It's a fast week this far, it's already Wednesday and that means it time for my weekly Wednesday's with Lynnderella post :)  Today I have the very delicate and beautiful Perpinkle from the Spring Things Collection.  Peripinkle contains assorted Periwinkle and Pink glitter in a clear Blue-shimmered based, it's simply beautiful.  In my photos I layered one coat over Chaos & Crocodiles Dragon Stories and my photos not do this combo any justice at all.  I have gotten so many compliments, I wore it for 3 days with no chipping or tip wear.  The formula is so smooth and just glided on my nails, there was no fishing required.

I plan to pair this with a nice light Pink cream next time, it is such a versatile glitter polish.  Lynnderella is available on both Ebay and their Storeny online shop and for the International folks, they do ship world wide.  That is all I have for today.  Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where it all is!

This was sent to me for my honest review and all written words of my own opinion.

NAYLL Polish Part 2 - The New Way to Create Your Custom Polish

Hello Lovelies!

I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Memorial Day.  We had severe weather all weekend, with flooding and tornado warnings, it wasn't pleasant at all as I am super afraid of storms.  To brighten my days and take my mind off the storms, I finished swatching my last 2 custom creations from NAYLL Polish.  My husband decided he wanted to design a polish too and dedicate it to the 23 years he spent in the Air Force.  The inspiration behind my creation was the beach.  Of course, my husbands polish turned out stunning and I will be wearing this a lot this summer with different types of nail art and especially on my toes!

Lost in Paradise  - I started with a base of Hydrangea Blue Jelly ( BLJ12 ) and added Pink Holographic Hex .008, .025. and .062, Pink Holographic Squares .035, Matte Pink Squares .062 and Matte hot Pink Flakes.  Yes, I love Pink! I used 2 coats with HK Girl Top Coat.

Wild Blue Yonder - My husband started with a base of Blueberry Jelly ( BLJ1 ) and added Sea Blue Holographic Hex .008, Blue Squares .035 and Silver Holographic Hex .025 and .008.  Wow, his selections turned out beautifully, my favorite of the 5 creations.  The minute I opened this bottle, I knew it was a winner.  Just look at the results! I used 2 thins coats with Darling Diva Pryzmatic PETC Top Coat.

These were so much fun to create and the possibilities are endless.  I love what Sara has created in NAYLL and have plans to create more in the future.  A custom polish you create for a very affordable price, YES!  You can find NAYLL on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. To create your very own custom polish visit the NAYLL Website. That is all I have for you today, I hope you have enjoyed my post and visit Sara at NAYLL.  Until next time, keep looking up, cause that's where is all is!

NAYLL Polish - The new way to create your custom polish Part 1

Hello Lovelies!!

I have such a fabulous post for you today, so grab your popcorn, sit back, relax and get ready to,be WOWED!   There's a new Indie brand in town and she's bringing creating your own custom polish right to your finger tips.  Yes, I did say create your own custom polish and it's very affordable.  It's like having a "custom polish bar" right in your lap.  I love this genius concept that Sara with NAYLL  has created.  It's no secret that just about every polish addict and polish lover, jumps at the chance to get their hands on custom made polishes....well, Ladies and Gents, now you can! NAYLL lets you create your own custom polish from A to Z, including naming your polish.  There are 2 options you can choose from to create, Shimmer and Glitters.  I opted to create glitters, 3 of them with each one being named after my three adorable little granddaughters.  So here's is how it works.  First you select  your base color either for a glitter polish or a shimmer polish, you can even create a glitter topper, with a clear base.  Next, you select the glitters you want ( I loaded all of mine up)  Oh, and did I mention the base for the glitter option is a Jelly!!! Creating a custom polish that's like a jelly sammich is aaaaamazing!  There is a nice variety of glitters that come in different shapes and sizes, from holographic to matte, it's a polish play land playground.  The possibilities are endless of what you can create, from simple with just 1 or 2 glitters, to creating a disco ball glitter explosion.  The choice is your to make.  I cannot say enough fabulous things about NAYLL.

I'm so excited to show you what I created.  My three little granddaughters are 7, 5 and 9 months old and they were my inspiration behind my creations of my first three bottles,  Adilynn Grace, Laila Bug and Maddox Rose.  My daughter really didn't give Laila a middle name of "bug", that's what we call her, our little Laila Bug, because she loves Lady Bugs :)   I was even able to get my husband involved and he created and named a polish as well.  I will have part 2 for y'all in a few days with the two polishes we created.   Now, on to my first set of creation.

Adilynn Grace - I started with the Plum Jelly base ( BLJ5 ) and loaded it with Gold Holographic Hex in 3 sizes, .008, .025 and .062, Gold Holographic Stars 1/8 and Matte Gold Hex .040.  I am very pleased with how this turned out.

Laila Bug - I started with the Red Raspberry Jelly base ( BLJ7 ) and add 2 sizes if Violet Hex .008 and .025, Matte Hot Pink Stars and Matt Hot Pink flakes.  This combination fits Laila's personality too!

Maddox Rose - This is for my youngest granddaughter who is just 10 months old and is always happy.  I started with the Coconut Jelly base ( BLJ8) and added Black Diamonds, Black Holographic Hex .008, Pink Holographic Squares 0.35, Turquoise Holographic Hex .025, Sea Blue Holographic Squares .035, Violet Holographic Hex .025 and Pink Holographic Hex .008.  Whew, this was quite a creation and I am so pleased with the out come.

This was such a fun tribute to my 3 granddaughters and even more fun creating them.  NAYLL offers so many options, you will want to create more and more.  Stayed tuned for part 2 of my NAYLL creations that my husband and myself did.  Make certain to follow Sara, the creator of NAYLL on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.  To create your very own custom made polish visit her NAYLL Website to get started.  That is all I have for you today.  Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where is all is!

Chaos & Crocodiles Dragon Stories

Hello Lovelies!!

*nothing to disclose/purchased by myself*

Happy Saturday!  It's a drury and raining day here today, it's been nothing but rain all week.  Not the kind of weather bloggers need when they are dying to get nice photo shots of holo polishes!! Today I have a gorgeous polish from Chaos & Crocodiles, Dragon Stories.  I was able to snag this at their last launch and I'm just now using it.....what the heck was I waiting for!?!?! I know it's summer, but wowie-wowza this is one gorgeous dark purple jelly base, with Fuchsia to purple to blue multi-chrome flakes, add in the holo pigment and WOW, such a beautifully unique polish.  It was so hard to capture it's true beauty, it is one you have to see in person to be mesmerized by this bottle of pure happiness.

I love everything about this polish!  The application was flawless, so smooth and for a jelly, that is a plus in my book!  I applied 2 thin coats, no issues with tugging or smudging and finished with 1 coat of Darling Diva Pryzmatic PETC Top Coat.  To add a little spunk for the weekend, I decided to add an adorable Anchor nail sticker from Julep.

How gorgeous is this polish and look at that macro!  I love every C&C polish that I own.  Unfortunately, this one isn't available at the moment, but be certain you are following on Facebook Twitter and Instagram to keep up with the latest restock and launch information.  Were you able to pick up this beauty?  That is all I have for you today.  Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where it all is!

Guest Post - Lisa Oswald from My Stunning Nails

Hello Lovelies!  I have a special guest post to share with you today from the very sweet Lisa with My Stunning Nails.

Hi again! It's Lisa from My Stunning Nails (link). Last month's trade of posts worked out well so we
decided to do it again. It gives me a chance to think of something different to do. Again, I what to
thank Shea for letting me post on her blog.
Today I painted some lines reminiscent of plaid and a little flower for you. The polish is a light teal,
Morgan Taylor Party At The Palace from the Cinderella collection that came out early this spring. I
painted the rest with acrylic paints. Do you use acrylic paints or polish to design your nails?

Thanks so much for taking the time to check out this post. You can find more of my nail posts at
http://mystunningnails.com.

Thank you Lisa for doing this fabulous guest post.  Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where is all is!
