YSL Black Opium | Influenster Voxbox Review

Hello Hello Hello!

::Influenster Voxbox Sample::

I hope you all are having a fabulous week so far.  It has become a Double Feature blog post review today and I have an exciting beauty post to share with you.  I was one of the lucky ones to be selected to receive the YSL Black Opium Influenster Voxbox and it arrived yesterday.  The minute I opened the box, I could smell the intoxicating fragrance and I immediately knew I would fall head over hills!! In addition to polish, I am a perfume hoarder, I mean collector! LOL I have nothing like YSL Black Opium in my collection and I will be running out to purchase myself a nice big bottle too.  YSL Black Opium is described as being a highly addictive and seductively intoxicatingly floral must have scent.  I am very picky when it comes to perfumes, so when I say this is a must have, Ladies and gentleman you really need this perfume!!

This is a scent that can be worn day or night and it isn't too over powering.  The best part about Black Opium is that the scent last a long time and doesn't fade right away.  My husband could still smell the perfume on me the next morning and I only applied once on my wrists and the back of my neck. In my Beauty List of "Things I Can't Live With Out" having a long lasting perfume is top of my list.  The packaging is stunning, sleek and classy, which matches perfectly with the design of the bottle, simply divine!

As a perfume collector, the design and appearance of the bottle is just as important. The design of Black Opium is simply stunning and looks amazing sitting on my black and white beauty shelving.  YSL Black Opium can be purchased at a few of my favorite stores, Sephora, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's and YvesSaintLaurent online and in stores.  That is all I have for you today.  Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where it all is!

**Disclosure-I received this product complimentary for testing purposes and all opinions and reviews are of my own words and are in no way influenced by YSL or Influenster**

Wednesday's with Lynnderella | Spot On

Hello Hello Hello!!!

::Press Sample/Affiliate::
My how time does fly! I'm recovery pretty well from knee surgery that was done last Thursday.  I already have cabin fever and cannot wait until I'm cleared to get up and start my rehabilition journey. I've been going stir crazy, all I can do now is lay in bed, with these #imtoosexyformylegs automatic leg compressions with an ice filled brace on and I have to keep my leg elevated!  Knowing I was having surgery, I swatched all the Lynn's that were sent to me for review, a head of time.

Wednesday's with Lynnderella is my favorite day of the week and I have a stunning polish to share with you today.  Spot On is simply gorgeous, versatile, is part of the Mixed Feelings core collection and is the latest incarnation of Connect the Dots. It is jam packed with assorted Black & White glitter shapes, in an intense multi-shimmered clear base.  I absolutely love this topper! I paired Spot On with Zoya Rehka and love how this combo turned out, you can really see the beautiful shimmer.  The formula and application were flawless, no issues to report at all.

Look at all that shimmer coming out in the macro shot!  I love versatile glitter topper polishes like Spot on.  Especially when the formula is so on point that a little "Tape Nail Art" can be done.  You can purchase this direct from Lynnderella online as a "buy it now" listing.  I have listed all the links below.  Don't forget to follow the Lynnderella blog as well.  That is all I have for you today.  Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where it all is!!

Wednesday's with Lynnderella | No Mad is on an Island

Hello Hello Hello!!

::Press Sample/Affiliate::
It's that time, my favorite day of the week, Wednesday's with Lynnderella! I hope everyone is having a superb week so far.  I have another beauty to share with you today.  No Mad is on an Island is from the core line Fall in Love with New York collection and is a Honey Caramel Butterscotch Gold holographic with Gold, Copper and tan accents all jam packed in a clear base. It is amazing! Bling-Glitter lovers this is for you.  As always the application was smooth, applied nicely and I did not have to fish for any glitters.  I applied 2 coats, with a sponge gradient accent over EP Paint it Black on my ring finger.  Once I was done and showed my husband, he immediately said " that is a total Pittsburg Steelers mani!", being a Browns fan he wasn't thrilled, LOL, but he did have to admit it was a gorgeous mani.

I'm going to keep this post review short, as my nervous are a bit high today, with my knee surgery happening tomorrow.  Losing weight and feeling great can sometimes back fire on you, when you go full throttle with exercising.  I should have eased myself in first.  I tend to forget I'm 49, not 29, hah!

I love how this can be a topper and has opacity with just 2 coats.  Lynnderella Lacquers has two online stores for easy shopping and they offer Worldwide shipping.  This is a lovely addition to my continually growing Lynnderella collection, as I've been a fan since 2012.  Each polish created is different from another.  If you are in the marker for a true One-of-a Kind creation, Lynnderella Lacquers is what you need.  That is all I  have for now.  Be sure to check out the links below for purchasing and staying up to date.  Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where it all is!!

Born Pretty Store | 10pc Hollow Sponge and Holder for Gradient Nail Art

Hello Hellp Hello!!

::Press Sample/Affiliate::

Happy Monday! I hope that everyone had a safe and wonderful weekend.  Just when we thought cooler weather was here, it jumped backed to the high 90's again.  It's the end of September and we are still getting hot Summer weather, ugh it's the one thing I dislike about living in San Antonio.  I'm so ready for cold weather that I purchased Christmas ornaments and decorations over the weekend.  If my husband would let me, I'd put up all 3 trees right now, LOL!! For now, I will keep buying a few things at a time, until November.  This week is going to be a little stressful for me, as I'm having knee surgery on Thursday :( I suppose it one of those unwanted perks of losing weight and starting a workout regimen......I managed to tear my meniscus, ouch.

On to happier things, I have another fabulous product from the Born Pretty Store to share with you today.  I love things that make nail art easier and gradiants have always been a challenge for me...until now.  I was sent the 10pc Hollow Sponge & 1pc Sponge Holder for Gradiant Nail Art Manicure for review and I can FINALLY create a Gradiant mani! This product is so easy and convenient to use, I absolutely love it and highly recommend it to all.  This mani literally took me less than 5 minutes to do, in fact it took me longer to clean up.  I totally forgot to use Lickety Split around my nails. Simply put one of the sponges inside the holder, paint your polish colors on the sponge, gently press the sponge on your nails in a "back and forth" motion until desired opacity is reached, then finish with a top coat. Viola, you have a beautiful-professionally looking Gradiant mani!! I love how this turn out and will be using this again and again.

Look how this turned out using just 2 polish colors! I love how easy this nail art tool is to use. After I removed all the polish, I totally thought about stamping over it.  I love a gorgeous gradient with a unique stamp over it.  Born Pretty Store offers FREE worldwide shipping and you can save 10% off all regular priced items using code HYSQ10 at checkout.  Have you ordered from Born Pretty Store before?  Their prices are always so very affordable and you've got to love the free worldwide shipping.  You can purchase this 10pc Sponge and Holder for just $3.99.  That is all I have for you today.  Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where it all is!

Wednesday's with Lynnderella | Fall in Love

Hello Hello Hello!!

::Press Sample/Affiliate::

It's my favorite day of the week and time for my weekly Wednesday's with Lynnderella blog post review.  Today it's all about Fall, even though this city rarely gets Fall weather, I still love all the colors that come out during this season.  Which reminds me, I work out at 5:15 in the mornings and on Monday it was 65 degrees, WHAT?!?! That never happens, I had to run back in and grab a light jacket.  I thought I was dreaming, but it makes for such a nice outside workout, better than the 96 degree weather last week.

I have a gorgeous one to share with you today. Lynnderella Fall in Love is from one of their core lines, the Fall in Love with New York Collection and is described as a multiglitter that features an autumnal assortment of holographic, metallic, matte, satin and neon glitters in a clear base.  This bottle is jam packed with all the beautiful colors of fall, it simply screams I Love Fall Weather!! I used 2 coats over Zoya Mason and finished with 2 coats of Seche Vite.  One of the things I love about Lynnderella Lacquers, is that the formulas are always on point, smooth and glide on so easy AND I never have to fish for glitters.

Gorgeous, right! Everything about this say I am ready for fall. I am in love with this glitter topper creation.  This can be purchased now, as it is part of their core line.  I will leave the links below. If there is a polish you want and do not see, simply send them an Email.  Lynnderella does offer Worldwide shipping as well. That is all I have for you today. Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where it all is!

I hope everyone had a safe and fabulous holiday weekend.  I know some of you got either a 3 day weekend or a 4 day weekend, as my husband did and he's been in his man cave building things out of wood pallets all weekend.  It's That time again.....my Wednesday's with Lynnderella blog post review and I have another Fantamazing Limited Edition to share with you.  Yes, I'm at it again, with creating my own "polish description words, Fantabulous + Amazing = Fantamazing!! Lynnderella Rose Petal Jammy is described as being made with rosy holographic microglitter in a magenta- and pink-shimmered clear base. Depending on application, opacity can be achieved in one or two coats.  Those that know me, and my readers that follow me, know that I have a thing for Pink polishes and Rose Petal Jammy put a big smile on my face and had my nails dancing with sparkling happiness.  Just when I think Lynnderella Lacquers has created a favorite for me in my collection, they amaze me with another stunning holographic microglitter.  I am in love with Rose a Petal Jammy and everything that is jam packed into this amazing creation.  I seriously would paint one of my walls with this polish if I could!! I combined Rose Petal Jammy over Revlon Flirty and used my go to top coat, Darling Diva Pryzmatic PETC.

Isn't she gorgeous! My camera just could not pick up all the shine and sparkle, this is even more beautiful in real life.  I will certainly be wearing this again, it is a wonderful addition to my Lynnderella collection. Wednesday's with Lynnderella | Quintessence - Limited Edition

Hello, Hello, Hello!!

::Press Sample/Affiliate Link::

It is Wednesday already and time for my weekly Lynnderella Lacquer review.  Prepare to be amazed as I have one Gormazing polish to share with you.  Yes, I seem to be on a roll in creating my own unique descriptive words, haha.  Gorgeous+Amazing=Gormazing! I think I may be onto something here :)

Quintessence is a Limited Edition polish and is described as being made with opaque colour-shifting flakes, iridescent blue flakes as well as intense holographic and blue-violet glitter in a multishimmered translucent blue-violet base.  This polish distracted me all day long and when I went for my outdoor work out, the sun shined upon my nails and it was WOW-A-WOWZA! I found it difficult to pay attention to what we were supposed to be doing, as I kept thinking "I wonder if my trainer would notice or mind, if I snapped a quick sunshine photo of my nails, haha.  I respectfully waited until I got home and by the way, this mani survived an outside Boot Camp style workout with out any chipping or tip wear.  That is a BIG plus in my book. Each bottle of Lynnderella polish  is unique and handmade, no two bottles are alike, inside or outside and they offer Worldwide shipping as well. The formula was so on FLEEK, no issues at all to report, it applied smoothly like soft butter on bread, just perfect.  I applied two thin coats over C&C  Reconnaissance and finished with one coat of Seche Vite and a coat of Darling Diva Pryzmatic PETC Top coat.   Let's have a look....

I just adore this polish!  Is it Blue? Is it Purple? Is it Blurple?  I say yes to all of the colors, as in the description "color shifting" is exactly what Quintessence delivers.  I took so many picture inside and outside in the full sunshine, I just could not narrow it down to showing just a few.  Look at the Marco shots, aaaaahmazing close up view of everything that is jam packed in there!  The mixture of these glitters and colors is simply divine, mesmerizing and even more beautiful in person.  Quintessence is part of the Lynnderella Lacquer Limited Edition line and can be bid on in an auction style format on the Ebay Lynnderella store.  I will list all of the links below for your convenience.  Hands down, this is my now favorite Lynnderella Lacquer polish.  I'd love to hear if any of my readers have any Lynnderella polishes or if you've been stalking a certain one. That is all I have for you today.  Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where it all is!!
