KBShimmer Green Hex & Glam

Hello Lovelies!!

I have another gorgeous polish to share with you by KBShimmer.  When I saw Green Hex & Glam on Valesha's blog post, I immediately knew I had to have it.  I have never been a fan of green until now!! ( as you can see from my previous post too )  Let's take a look at the 3 photo's I have to share with you.  Not only is this a beautiful color, but the application was flawless.  I could have gone with out a top coat!! Yes, with out a top coat, that is how smooth the formula is!  I did use 1 coat of HK Girl Top Coat.

Green Hex & Glam is in my Top Ten list.  The following information was taken from the description on KBShimmer's website:

Green hex And Glam was actually a custom polish for Kayla’s 3 year blogaversary, but I knew it would also be a perfect Christmas shade!  She wanted a green version on I Got A Crush On Blue.  I recreated that custom, with a deep green jelly base.  I then loaded that base with silver holographic hex glitters in sizes from micro to extra-large for an ultra-sparkly polish.  Best in 3 coats

Type: Jelly
Glitter Load: Medium
Glitter Size: Small to Extra Large
Recommended Coats: 3 Coats
Notes:  To reduce fishing for extra large glitters, turn bottle upside down for a few minutes before application.

For my application, I used Stuck on Blue base coat and HK Girl Top Coat  These fabulous products can be purchased from Jill at GLISTEN & GLOW   For the polish I used the recommended application of 3 coats, it not only dried fairly fast, but I could have gone with out a top coat.  Never have I come across a glitter polish that dried smooth.  You can find Green Hex & Glam and other beauties online at KBSHIMMER  I am looking forward to purchasing more from Christy :)  Do you own any KBShimmer polishes?  Which ones?  Thank you for reading my blog post today.  Until next time, Keep looking up because that's where it al is.

Smitten Polish Claddagh

Hi Lovelies!! I have another gorgeous polish to share with you today on this beautiful Texas Day!  My lack of blogging has been caused by my health and I have missed it.  A few weeks ago I finally came across a doctor who was able to finally figure out what was wrong.  I was diagnosed with Graves Disease and put on a Beta Blocker to control my high heart rate.  I still have a few more test to determine my treatment plan, but Thank God!! It has been a very long 3 years.  I am doing a lot better on the new medicine and I am hopeful that I can start blogging on a regular basis. Soooooo....On to this MEGA beautiful-Gorgeous Smitten Polish!! This is Claddagh and when Noelie posted a preview of her upcoming polishes, I knew I had to have this one.  I wasn't a fan of green, but I am now!  This is a bright green linear holo and is opaque in 2-3 coats.  I used 2 coats and 1 coat of HK Girl Top Coat.

The formula is absolute perfection and applied perfectly.  I think this color is great for anytime of the year.  Next time I use this one I am going to try stamping over it.  Currently, this polish is not available, but I do believe she will restock again in April. What do you think? Do you own any Smitten polishes? I love to read comments and I do reply to all of them :) You can follow Smitten Polish on Facebook HERE for updates on future restocks.  She has moved her shop from Etsy to BigCartel, you can view her link HERE  Thank you for taking the time to read up on my latest post.  Until next time, keep looking up, because that's where it all is.....

Lilypad Lacquer Rolling in Rubies

Hello Lovelies!

I'm sorry for my on again off again blogging. My health just doesn't want me to do anything these days.  Hoping my biopsy will be able to tell us what's been ailing me, until then I will try and post once a week.  Enough of that, on to my post about THIS beautiful polish!! Rolling in Rubies is just what I needed today to give me a bit of a perk.  I've had this one for a while and after seeing it, I cannot believe I waited so long to try it.  It is WOWZA wowza holographic beauty! Like a sparkling glass of diamonds, this one does not disappoint. I've only got one photo to show this evening, it is a collage of several photos.

Isn't it just beautiful!! It does lean more towards a deep wine holo on my skin, in the bottle you can see the beyond gorgeous Ruby sparkle.  Lilypad Lacquer is a fabulous Australian made polish.  Her Etsy shop is currently on vacation, but you can follow her Facebook page for updates.  What do you think about Rolling in Rubies?  Do you own any?  That's all for now, until next time,  hug the ones you love everyday!!

Origami Owl Living Lockets!

Hello Lovelies!! It's been a bit since my last post, surgery and life has gotten in the way.  I'm recovering nicely and I'm looking forward to blogging more.  Prior to my surgery last month I came across the most unique locket I had ever seen. I placed an order and when I got it, I immediately knew I wanted to be a part of Origami Owl. The founder and creator is an amazing lady, she achieved this at the age of 14!! You can read her story on my website. I will post links at the end of my post. The Day of Love is fast approaching and our new LE line is a must for any age!! The best part about our lockets....the charms can be change at anytime and it is super-duper easy to do! With just 1 Locket, you can have endless looks with a variety of charms.  All of our charms are just $5.00, even our Limited Edition ones!  Let's take a look at a few photos 😬

Our LE Heart Locket is just gorgeous!  This can be worn with a long chain or normal 16-18" and with the ability to easily change out the charms, you will get endless looks with just ONE locket and a variety of charms.  Did I mention that ALL of our charms are just $5.00!!!

This is our Large crystal locket and our Key face plate.  This is another favorite design of our customers.  It doesn't take a lot of charms to make these so unique.  This can be worn on our bracelet or on any chain.

Black.....I LOVE the black locket and chain!! It goes with everything :) This just has our heart faceplate and look how pretty this is!! You can add a few charms or birthstones too. There are so many options to choose from.  *WARNING* these are just as addicting as Polish!!

I saved the best, in my opinion, for last.  I am in LOVE LOVE LOVE with the look below.  This is our Link Locket and Link bracelet paired with a triple pearl bracelet, which is not Origami.  So versatile to incorporate into your jewelry collection.

What do you think? I was so addicted to these that I decided I needed to be a part of the Origami Owl family and become a Designer.  The story behind the company is so inspiring and proves dreams can happen at any age.  She had a vision at the young age of 14, see a part of her story below.

It has been a long long break, but I am back!!

Hello Dolls!!! Wow, the last time I posted here was in April, time does fly!! Life and health issues have gotten in the way, which has been tough.  Thanks to a few good doctors, I will finally be on my way to a pain free life! I have so many things to show you, both in polish and Jamberry Nail wraps.  I had contemplated speaking about the bullying that sadly goes on in the polish world, as I was targeted for quite sometime, but I decided that the "women" responsible for it all, just were not worth naming!  It is crazy, yet sad, the things people will do to create drama!  Enough of that, on to my post :)  Jamberry Nail wraps have created some of the cutest designs for Halloween, and there is still time to order!  These come in adult and kids sizes too!

These are a few of my favorite designs, aren't they adorable?!?! I really love the Mummies! They are easy to apply to your nails and toes.  These can be worn as an accent nail with polish or worn on all fingers and or toes!

Which design is your favorite? Jamberry Nail wraps can be purchased
here and are Buy 3 Get 1 Free.  If anyone would like to give them a try before buying, I do have samples to send as well, just leave me a comment below :)  This come back post is short and my goal is to post at least once a week until after my surgery.  Until next time, may your days be filled with laughter and beautiful polish!!
