Marbles for Polish | The Essentials Collection

Hello Lovelies!!

**Press Sample**

I have an exciting review to share with you today.  Shannon with Marbles for Polish has really outdone herself with the Essentials Collection.  Let me start off by saying two words.....WOW-WOW!  I normally gravitate towards holo polishes and rarely give creme's a second look, but these babies are amazing! Everything about them is prefect. The colors are vibrant, the formula goes on smooth as butter, they dry to a shine finish and they are 1-coater's!! YES,  I did indeed say it only takes 1 coat to achieve full opacity and a gorgeous shine.  I am hooked on these polishes and can not wait to get the remaining ones in the collection.  I will be sharing four out of the eight polishes, with one of them being a Holo topper.  Let's get started!

First up is Damsel in this Dress, it is a gorgeous berry vintage red crème.  When I put the first coat on, I could not believe the full coverage with just a single coat! Please pardon my attempt with nail art.  It was a success until I tried to freehand a flower on there....I should have left it alone!

The next two photos show Angelique Wings, the Holo Topper in this collection, over Damsel in the Dress.  I love this topper, it isn't too grey, nor does it have too much of a rainbow effect, it is just right.

Full Sunshine

Next up is Bluejack Baby it is a vibrant Royal Blue crème and again, just one coat and it is my favorite!

Full Sunshine with Angelique Wings

Rounding things up is Midnight Mistress and she lives up to her name, a midnight black crème is the staple to any polish lovers collection. This black color is on fleek!

Check out that Holo topper, gorgeous isn't it! I am very impressed with all of the polishes. Who doesn't love a 1-coater polish that doesn't require a top coat?! I am now a fan of crème polishes and I cannot say enough great things about these.  The Essentials Collection will launch sometime mid August, so be sure to follow Marbles For Polish to stay up to date on the launch date and time.  I have provided all the links below.  That is all I have for you today.  Keep looking up cause that's where is all is!

Wednesday's with Lynnderella | Looks Like a Picnic

Hello Lovelies!

**Press Sample**

It is that time again, my weekly Wednesday's with Lynnderella review and I have beauty to share with you, Looks Like a Picnic.  This is, in my opinion an "All American" creation, it reminds be of Freedom, Apple Pie, Baseball and summer family time.  Lynnderella Looks Like a Picnic is part of the Some Summer Holiday Trio and has Blue multiglitter with neon Red, White and multiglitter accents in a Blue-Violet shimmered clear base.   The formula is nice and does not require "fishing" for any glitters, they went on evenly and smoothly.  I used one coat over Zoya Shay with a coat of Seche Vite and finished with a coat of HK Girl Top Coat.

Doesn't this remind you of America? This is such a fun glitter topper and can be worn over just about any color.  Looks Like a Picnic can be purchased alone or with the other two polishes in the trio on the Lynnderella Ebay store and their Storenvy shop.  Lynnderella does offer free worldwide shipping and if there is something you want that is not listed, simply send them an email by clicking the Contact link below.  That is all I have for you today.  Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where it all is!

Born Pretty Store | Born Pretty Holographic Glitter Nail Varnish #08

Hello Lovelies!!

**Press Sample/Affiliate link**

Well, it looks like my daily workout regimen may have to come to an end, sigh.  Last week, while running, doing squats and burpees, I heard a "pop" in my left knee, which I ignored and finished the work out.  A few hours after I got home, the pain started followed by swelling and bruising, damnit!! I went the next morning, determine to not let it stop me and I wasn't able to fully work out.  I made an appointment with my orthopedic surgeon, went in today and he fears I may have torn something in me knee and sent me down stairs for an MRI.  Tears filled my eyes, I tried to explain to him that I was on a mission to get healthy, by working out and losing weight.  He probably thought I was a 49 year old baby!! I follow up on Tuesday to go over my MRI results....I am praying I do not need surgery.   So, for now I will hope for the best and keep on polishing my nails, LOL!

Today I have a gorgeous Holographic polish to share with you, from the Born Pretty Store.  Yes, they have more than just nail art accessories! My 2nd favor polish color is Blue and this one is a beauty.  The Born Pretty polishes do not have names, they have numbers and I was sent Born Pretty Holographic #08 , to give my honest opinion and review.  I was very pleased with the polish.  The formula is perfect and applies smoothly, 3 coats with 1 coat of Darling Diva Pryzmatic PETC Top Coat.

What a gorgeous polish! I love everything about it, price is affordable and the Born Pretty Store offers FREE worldwide shipping, plus you can save an additional 10% off all regular priced items, by using code HYQS10 at check out.  Thank is all I have for you on this beautiful Saturday.  Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where it all is!

Wednesday's with Lynnderella | Jammy is My Jam

Hello Lovelies!!

**Press Sample**

It's Wednesday and that means it is time for my weekly review for Lynnderella.  Are you ready to see a jaw-dropping polish? When I opened my press sample package from Lynnderella, It just about took my breath away looking at all of them!  Today I am sharing my favorite, Jammy is My Jam, a Limited Edition polish.  This is a STUNNER is so many ways.  It can be worn alone or over another polish.  It took me a minute to decide, but I went with Enchanted Polish Entwined ( post coming later) and let me tell you.....ahhhhhhh, I heard the angels singing when I was done with the application! Jammy is My Jam contains holographic-edged fuchsia microglitter with assorted red, pink and magenta accents in an intensely magenta- and blue-shimmered, magenta-tinted clear base. This combined with EP Entwined was a match made in Heaven.  Take a look, it's amazing!

How gorgeous is Jammy is My Jam?!?!  It has all the components that I love in a polish.  It is one of the Limited Edition polishes that Lynnderella offers by bidding in an "auction style" format on Ebay.  This is definitely one any polish lover will want in their collection.  That is all I have for you today.  Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where is all is!

365 Lacquer | 1940, Orquidea & Anthias

Hello Lovelies!

**Press Sample**

I hope everyone had a safe and Happy 4th of July.  We stayed home, as I'm one of those people that does not like to go out on a holiday, as the next day the news is filled with sad stories of people who died from either a drink driver or fireworks.  I'm all about celebrating, but at home, where I know I'm going to wake up the next day.  Today I have three beautiful creme polishes from 365Lacquer to share with you. The colors are nice, the formula is smooth, a little on the thin side, but I was able to achieve opacity with 3 thin coats and no VNL.  All of my photos are 3 coats finished off with HK Girl top coat.  For my accent nail, I attempted the Saran Wrap technique and added EP Festival to give it a little bling.  365Lacquer polishes are:

■ 5-free (No formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalates, toluene, camphor, or formaldehyde resins)
■ Ultra fast dry
■ Vegan
■ No animal testing
■ Handcrafted

First up is 1940, which I LOVE the name! It is a beautiful Baby Pink color and is work appropriate.

Next up is Orquidea and it is a beautifully unique shade, described as a Vibrant Milky Orchid Crème.  This too is work appropriate as well.

Lastly is Anthias, which is described as a Neon Coral Pink shade.  A neon that isn't "in your face" bright, but is just the right color balance that you could get away with wearing it to work in a corporate setting.

365Lacquer is a fairly new Indie brand, opened October 17, 2014 and I am impressed with her polishes.  Not only are they all versatile colors, but they are very affordable, priced at just $7.99 for a full size bottle! In addition to offering crèmes, glitters and metallics, she also offers custom made polishes.  The neat thing about the process of ordering a custom polish, is you create what you want right on her website! Simply select the color, the finish you want and give it a name :) I do plan on creating a custom polish in the future.  That is all I have for you today.  Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where it all is.

Wednesday's with Lynnderella | Groom TBD

Hello Lovelies!

I do apologize for my post being a day late.  I got a bright idea that it was time for me to start working out with a trainer......someone should have explained to me that by day 3, I wouldn't be able to walk, sit, lay down, etc LOL.  I know in the end I will feel great, but getting there is tough! I am proud of myself just for getting up and being there at 5:30 in the morning everyday Mon-Fri, yes 5 time a week and it isn't done inside a plush air conditioned gym, nope, it's done outside in the parking lot at a local middle school!! Texas heat and humidity will make you sweat like a hooker in church! At least my nails look pretty for every workout :)

Today I have a very unique shade to share with you.  Lynnderella Groom TBD is one of those combinations that can be worn over any color to give it that "pop,  It is a translucent white with blue shimmer and assorted blue iridescent accents, simply stunning.  The formula is nice and smooth, no issues at all.  This is 2 coats over Sinful Sweetheart Tooth, with 1 coat of Out the Door TC.

You can really see the blue shimmer in the macro photo's.  Groom TBD is part of the Lynnderella Limited Edition collection and can be bid on in auction style on their Ebay store.  This is one you will want to have, as it is so versatile with any color! That is all I have for you today. Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where is all is.
