Pinterest Inspired Leopard Print Mani

Hello Lovelies and Happy Saturday!!

Whew,  It has been a long break since the last time I was able to provide a blog post on anything related to nail polish and it feels good to be back!  Due to health reasons, I have not been able to paint my nails for about 4 months.  Finally one of the specialist I see found a medication that did make me sick or make my hands shake.  Talk about frustration an depression!  These doctors had no idea who they were dealing with, LOL a polish addict!! Now that things seem to have settled down, I am going to start off blogging at least 3 times a week, with a goal of 5 times a week.  During my down time, I searched through Pinterest looking for nail art designs that inspired me, I even created a board on Pinterest and pinned all the ones I found that I'd like to try.   Of course, my first recreation had to be that of animal print.  The minute I saw this mani, created by @simplemanicures from Webstagram, I knew it would be the one I would do first.  Not only was it Leopard Print, but it also included Pink polish and silver bling...winner-winner!! Here is my Pinterest inspired photograph:

Beautiful done with perfectly selected color combination.  I did not realize this was a stamped leopard design, until I had finished my mani.  I went to compare the photo's to see how I did, my leopard print was done free hand, I noticed the markings were just about exact.  Now, let's take a look at how mine turned out :)

There it is!! This was my 2nd attempt at free hand Leopard print design and I think I did okay.  Next time I think I will use a nail art brush to paint the design on, instead of a dotting tool.  I think my technique would greatly improve using a brush.  I used 5 different polishes, ZOYA Snow White, Cosmo and Dot, Essence Colour & Go Grey-T To Be Here and Sonnetarium Weapons of Mass Construction.  Below is a bottle shot of them all.

Animal Prints are my favorite and I was so excited to give this a try.  What are your favorite designs to create?  I'd love to get some feedback on my free hand designs.  Pinterest has become my new best friend!  I have never, until recently, gotten into the Pinterest world.....wow, was I missing out!! You can find any and everything on there, I am addicted.  That is all I have for today, Thank you for taking the time to read my blog post.  Until next time, keep looking up, cause that's where it all is!!

XOXO - Shea
