Younique - Uplift Empower Motivate - Challenge

Hello Lovelies!!

Yes, You aren't seeing things, I am able to do a blog post 2 days in a row now!! I am so excited to announce that I decided to join Younique.  For those of you that have not heard of Younique, we are a fast growing cosmetic company that is known for our 3D Fiber Mascara.  I refer to it as a "Magic Wand" for your eyelashes.  I have always had a passion for makeup and I am always looking for the best of the best products.  When I first tried our 3D Fiber Mascara last year, I was immediately hooked and could not believe I was looking at my short lashes, that were now full and long!!  I have tried just about every mascara out there, from drug store brand to high end brands and none of them were able to achieve the long and full effect as promised by the makers.  I was challenged today to sell 5 of our fabulous 3D Fiber Mascara's, so what a better way to get the word out and accept that challenge, was to do a blog post about it!!  Below you will see real life photo's taken from either other Younique presenters or from one of our many happy customers.  The proof is in the pictures.  Let's take a look, you will be AMAZED!

Wowza, right?!?! Our 3D Fiber Mascara works on any length of lashes.  Below are the details taken from the Younique website.
Our simple three-step process combines Transplanting Gel and Natural Fibers to help create the appearance of incredible thickness and volume to your existing lashes. Watch as your lashes transform into something you have only dreamed of! The 3D Fiber Lashes are water resistant but easily washes off with warm water and facial cleanser at the end of the day. Try it! It will quickly become your favorite makeup must-have!

To prepare your eyelashes for optimal results, first apply one thin coat of your own regular favorite mascara and let it dry. Then, apply Moodstruck Transplanting Gel to your lashes.
Immediately following, and while the gel is still wet, apply the Moodstruck Natural Fibers.
Reapply the Transplanting Gel a second time to secure the natural fibers onto your lashes.

What do you think? I highly recommend this mascara to anyone, not just because I am a Younique Presenter, but because I use this product myself, before I joined.  Younique is 100% certain that you will love our 3D Fiber Lashes, that if you do not love them, we offer a money back guarantee! Who would like to help me meet and or beat this challenge of selling 5 of our 3D Fiber Lash Mascara?? Your lashes will LoVe you and so will I :)  You can order them on my website easy-peasy, just click HERE  If you have ever thought about joining Younique, now is the time to get in.  We are growing each day and the company as a whole has already surpassed our total sales from April!! Contouring and Highlighting - Does it really work PART 2

Good Morning Lovelies!! Its F-R-I-D-A-Y!! I am ready for the weekend  We are finally supposed to have nice weather.  Anyone have big plans?  Today is another quick post on Contouring and Highlighting.  It really does work! For many years I thought it was ridiculous, for what seemed to be globing on a ton of makeup in certain areas of your face.  All that came to thought was " what happens if you get caught in the rain, or start sweating" will you have lines down your face?  In todays high tech world of makeup, there are things that now prevent us from issues of such nature.  There are now face primers and Urban Decay has a fabulous creation called All Nighter. It is a "setting" spray for makeup, which can be used before you apply make up and after, and it WORKS!

I found a few more WOWZA photo's on Instagram that I'd like to share with you.  This is the work of a very talented Makeup Artist, Brian Champagne.  I started following him on IG and find his work mesmerizing.  When he does contouring and highlighting, it DOES work!!  Take a look at a few of his transformations........

The 2nd photo, took my breath away!  I am now a contouring and highlighting gal.  In my last post, I posted pic tutorials on how to apply the magical trick.  When I started testing this out, I practiced with BB creams and my concealers.  I wanted to make sure I had the application down pat, before I went out and spent money on a good set from Anastasia Beverly Hills.  So what do you think about this miracle trick?  Have you tried doing it?  I'd love to hear your thoughts.  You can follow Brian by clicking HERE He also has a website, you can view by clicking HERE  That is all I have for you today, until next time, Keep looking up because that's where is all is,

Contouring and Highlighting- Does it really make a difference?

Hello Lovelies!!!

I have been doing a lot of thinking about my blog and what direction I want to go in.  My addiction is far deeper than just polish, in fact my first addiction in beauty was Bare Escentuals Mineral Eye Shadows. Which was of course followed by their very famous "swirl, tap and buff" mineral foundation.  Since 2004 I have been a make up collector.  My mineral eye shadow jars collection is larger than my polish addiction and I still find my self buying more.  I have discovered a few Indie brands and I love their eye shadows. That will be in a different post.  My newest addiction is BB Cream, CC Cream and Concealors.  I have several brands to compare that will fit everyone's budget.  I watch a lot of You Tube videos and now following a lot of Beaty bloggers and IG Makeup Artist and have found Contouring and Highlighting intriguing.  When I first saw how contouring was done, I thought to my self, ummm I'm as white as milk, how in the heck is a dark concealer going to look on me, I'm going to look like I'm playing Cowboys and Indians!! I found 2 tutorials, which I will share later on in this post, that are easy to follow, with simple steps that give you the "Scarlet Movie Star" look.  I have to say I was very skeptical that this would not work on my very fair skin.  WOW, was I surprised at the out come!! I've never seen my face look so radiant like I just had a professional session with a celeb make up artist, it was flawless!! Just as I've read, my skin looked glowing and my cheeks, oh my, I looks like I had perfect high check bones, the kind you dream of!! So, yes......Contouring DOES work along with highlighting! When you follow the technique, everything blends and does exactly what it's supposed to.  You may ask, but when do you do this, before applying foundation or after? I had this question too and in my research, I've found that it is generally done AFTER you've applied your foundation.  However, it can be done BEFORE you apply your foundation, but your contouring effect will not be as prominent. It all comes down to preference and what you want you finished look to be.  Take a look at these amazing pictorials.

LOOK at the amazing transformation!! The first time I learned of contouring, I thought NO WAY is a dark concealer or BB cream going to look right on my skin.  Since I will try anything once, I gave it a shot and I was amazed at the difference in my skin's appearance.  I actually had cheek bones that showed!  LOL  I found an amazing step-by-step tutorial that you can view by clicking HERE  I used this link earlier this week and it was super easy to do. This is a great step by step tutorial for beginners.  What do you think of adding contouring to your daily beauty regimen?  The fascinating thing I found is that contouring can look very natural for day time wear and glamorous for evening too!  Below are the links of which I found information about contouring and highlighting.  Click HERE too view another tutorial I found quite helpful and also HERE  The last tutorial I found is easy to follow as well, click HERE to view.

That is all I have for this evening.  Keep a look out for my next post, as I will be showing you photo's and the steps I use when contouring and highlighting.  I'd love to hear your thoughts and any suggestions, tips you'd like to share.  Until next time, Keep looking up because that's where it all is.

Squishy Face Polish IACTAVS

Hello Lovelies!!

How has your week been? For those that live in the areas that were affected by bad weather and tornados, I hope that everyone is safe.  For me, this week has flown by and I did not even realize that tomorrow is Friday already!!  I seem to be on a "Blue" polish kick this week.  I have another beautiful jelly packed one to share with you today from Squishy Face Polish.  This is IACTAVS.  I love Jellies, Crellies and Jelly Sandwiches and this polish meets all of the above!! This Blue is packed with silver stars, purple hexagon shaped glitters, blue/silver/lavender and pink tiny glitters in a blurble shimmer base.  In a nut shell, its B-E-A-U-T-U-F-U-L!!!  Let take a look at the photos, these were all taken in full sunlight.

I really like this polish and I will be buying more in the future.  The application was fabulous too.  I used Glisten & Glow Stuck On Blu base coat, then 3 thin coats of polish and finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.  I was tempted to do a little flower art work with white polish in between coats, but maybe next time, as this one is packed with glitter for the perfect jelly sandwich.  I didn't have any issues with getting the glitter to go on smoothly, nor did I have to "fish" for any.  It is an all around great jelly polish. You can find Squishy Face polish on her Big Cartel store HERE.  You can find all of the Glisten & Glow products HERE.  What do you think?  Do you own any Squishy Face Polishes?  I'd love to hear your thought and comments.  That is all I have for today.  Until next time, keep looking up cause that's where is all is!!
